1. Introduction

Welcome to Matt’s Print Shop (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of our custom printing services, including stickers, posters, signage, and design assistance.

By placing an order, using our website, or submitting artwork, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully.

2. Definitions (for clarity)

  • “Customer”, “you”, “your” — the person placing an order.

  • “Custom products” — any product made to your specifications, including stickers, posters, signage, apparel transfers, and printed artwork.

  • “Proof” — a digital mockup or file sent for approval before production.

  • “Print-ready” — artwork that meets our file requirements without needing adjustments.


3. Services Offered

We offer:

  • Custom stickers (eco-solvent printing on vinyl)

  • Posters (various sizes up to 480mm width)

  • Wall signs and decals

  • Basic and advanced design assistance

  • Image sharpening, recreation, and upscaling

  • File preparation services

Production capabilities:

  • Maximum print width: 480mm (450mm safe working zone)

  • Maximum practical length: 900mm (up to 1200mm in special cases)

  • Materials: White gloss vinyl, matte vinyl, poster paper

  • Printers: Roland BN2-20A & Roland BN-20 (eco-solvent)


4. Orders and Acceptance

4.1 Order Placement

Orders may be placed via:

  • Direct message or email enquiry

All orders are subject to acceptance.
We may refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.

4.2 Order Confirmation

You will receive confirmation once we accept your order.
Production does not begin until payment is received and all proofs are approved.

4.3 Custom Orders & Proof Approval

  • You are responsible for reviewing all proofs carefully.

  • Once a proof is approved, you accept full responsibility for spelling errors, colours, sizing, and layout.

  • Any changes after approval may incur additional fees.


5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Pricing

  • All prices are in AUD.

  • Prices may change at any time without notice.

  • The price at checkout is the final price for your order.

5.2 Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required before production begins.

  • Accepted payment: Shopify Payments (credit/debit card).

  • B2B payment terms may be arranged individually.

5.3 Additional Charges

Extra fees may apply for:

  • Design services beyond basic adjustments

  • Complex revisions

  • Image recreation or sharpening

  • Custom requests outside standard production

  • Shipping


6. Production and Turnaround Times

6.1 Standard Turnaround

  • Minimum turnaround: 48 hours from design approval

  • Eco-solvent prints require 24 hours of outgassing before cutting

  • Large or complex jobs may require longer

6.2 Production Schedule

  • Timeframes are estimates only

  • Production begins only after payment and design approval

  • Rush jobs may be available at an additional cost

6.3 Delays

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Equipment issues

  • Shipping carriers

  • Supplier delays

  • Extreme weather or other factors outside our control

We will notify you of significant delays.


7. File Requirements & Design Services

7.1 Customer-Supplied Files

Files must be:

  • High resolution (300 DPI minimum)

  • Correct size and ratio

  • In PDF, AI, EPS, PNG, or high-quality JPEG format

Low-quality files may produce poor results.
We will notify you if your files are unsuitable, but final responsibility lies with you.

7.2 Design & Editing Services

We offer:

  • Basic design help for simple projects

  • Advanced editing, recreation, and sharpening (additional fees)

AI-enhanced or recreated artwork may not perfectly match the original.
Results depend entirely on the source image.

7.3 Intellectual Property

  • You confirm you own, or have permission to use, all artwork you submit.

  • You indemnify us from any copyright or trademark claims related to your files.

  • We may showcase your completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise.


8. Storage of Artwork

We may store your artwork for future reorders.
However:

  • We do not guarantee permanent storage

  • You may request deletion at any time


9. Shipping & Delivery

9.1 Shipping Options

  • Local pickup (Midland, WA) — by appointment

  • Australia-wide shipping via Australia Post or selected couriers

  • Perth metro next-day delivery (where available)

9.2 Shipping Costs

Calculated at checkout based on weight, size, and location.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.

9.3 Delivery Timeframes

Shipping estimates are provided by carriers and are not guaranteed.

9.4 Risk of Loss

Risk transfers to you once the order is handed to the carrier.
We recommend insurance for high-value orders.

9.5 Incorrect Address

We are not responsible for delays or lost items caused by incorrect addresses provided by the customer.


10. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

10.1 Custom Products

All custom-made items are non-refundable unless faulty or not as described.

10.2 Faulty or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 7 days

  • Provide photos of the issue

  • We will offer a replacement, reprint, or refund at our discretion

10.3 Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled before production begins

  • Once production starts, cancellations are not accepted

  • Design fees are non-refundable once work has begun

10.4 Colour Variations

  • Minor differences between on-screen colours and printed colours are normal

  • Eco-solvent printing may vary up to 10% due to materials, calibration, humidity, and coatings

  • This is not grounds for a refund

10.5 Size Tolerances

Print and cut tolerances may vary by ±2mm.
This is standard for all vinyl and sticker production.

10.6 Surface Damage Disclaimer

We are not responsible for any damage caused by:

  • Applying stickers

  • Removing stickers

  • Incompatible surfaces or adhesives

Surface compatibility is the customer’s responsibility.


11. Quality & Warranty

11.1 Product Quality

We use professional-grade materials and equipment.
Durability depends on application, cleaning methods, sun exposure, and environmental conditions.

11.2 Warranty Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

  • Our liability is limited to replacement or refund of the affected product

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss

  • Maximum liability is the purchase price of the order


12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the ACL.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure

  • Compensation for foreseeable loss

  • Repair or replacement for non-major issues


13. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our services for:

  • Illegal, harmful, defamatory, or offensive content

  • Infringing or counterfeit materials

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Anything that violates Australian law

We reserve the right to refuse such orders.


14. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you agree to that policy.


15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
Continued use of our services means you accept the revised Terms.


16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Western Australia.
